From family fun to global partnerships

Our love of photo booths goes way back. Our founder, Alexandra (Alex, for short), has always loved them – and even before she was born, her grandad serviced photo booths!

So in 2008, while planning her sister’s wedding, Alex wanted to hire a booth as a surprise. When she couldn’t find one easily, she decided to source it herself. That simple idea grew into a family business – The Photo Booth Company.

After shifting into permanent installations, we expanded internationally, bringing joy and candid moments to customers across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. We’ve since partnered with some of the world’s biggest retail and entertainment brands like Urban Outfitters and Hard Rock Cafe. 

Alex still gets such a kick out of seeing customers dissolve into laughter when they’re using the photo booths. And while the scale is bigger, our purpose has never changed: to spread happiness through the power of photo booths.
